Vanessa's Art Projects
Metal EMBOSSING and colored pencil
Culture artThis piece is a wolf spirit animal. My painting is around the Pacific Northwest Culture. They used smooth and simple patterns.
Plaster SculptureWe took milk cartons and filled it halfway with water and added plaster. We then waited for them to dry and started to carve into it. Mine represents the emotion anger and sadness. The rough texture on top symbolizes how people have rough days and it turns smoother to where it means the day can slowly get better.
In these two slide shows it shows my print makings. We carved into a linoleum block. We were assigned to do some type of emotionally trait that pertains to myself.

Juxtaposition with animals
In this project we juxtaposed a realistic animal. We created a rectangle and everything inside of it had to look realistic while everything outside of it had to be black and white. The animal of my choice was an albino python and you had to create it and make it stand out. The whole snake had to be colored to be realistic.
